INTRODUCTION

The Asia-Pacific Conference on Synthetic Aperture Radar (APSAR) is an international conference to devote the SAR technology development and application. The APSAR is a forum of SAR engineers and scientists from all the worlds, especially from the Asia-Pacific area. The APSAR will be held in China, Japan, Korea, Australia and Singapore in turn.

The First Asia-Pacific Conference on Synthetic Aperture Radar (APSAR 2007) is going to be held in Nov.5-9, 2007 at Huangshan city, China. The sponsor of APSAR 2007 is the Chinese Institute of Electronics (CIE).

The Asia-Pacific Conference on Synthetic Aperture Radar (APSAR) set up an APSAR secretariat in China. The APSAR Secretariat is the permanent organization of APSAR. It takes charge of relevant work of APSAR. The APSAR Secretariat has 5 international secretaries from China, Japan, Korea, Australia and Singapore. The first Secretariat of APSAR is suggested as following:

The APSAR Secretariat will keep in contact with every international secretary, and has a secretariat meeting every time in the APSAR hold place.
